We help transform skills into sustainable livelihoods through:
SAHDEV works with primary and secondary schools to promote school farms as a comprehensive approach to youth development and education:
This initiative represents a broader effort to transform education while empowering young people with practical skills that can lead to future entrepreneurship and food security.
We work to strengthen women's position in society through:
Our 6-month digital skills program trained 120 young people in web development, digital marketing, and e-commerce. Over 70% of graduates have secured employment or started their own digital businesses, with an average income increase of 150%.
We helped establish a women's cooperative with 60 members specializing in traditional handicrafts. Through skills training, business development, and market connections, the cooperative now exports products to international markets and has doubled the income of its members.
Our school farm initiative at Limbe Primary School has transformed the educational experience for 200+ students. The school now produces 80% of its vegetables for the feeding program, enrollment has increased by 25%, and students have developed practical agricultural skills. The farm generates enough revenue to purchase new learning materials and support other school activities.
